FAQ

Common questions

Short answers. If yours isn’t here, text or email me.

What do you tune?

GM LS & LT — stock to boosted — and Hemi 2005–2012 only. Software is HP Tuners. Remote custom tuning is the main service; street tuning is available anywhere in the Phoenix valley.

How do I pay?

Message me first so I can confirm your setup. I’ll send a payment link. For remote tunes, payment is before the first file is sent.

What about fuel pressure?

It depends on your system. If pressure drops under load, fix that before we tune — tuning around a weak fuel system isn’t the move. Send details in the build form.

I flashed and it runs worse

Don’t panic. Don’t drive it hard. Send me the logs. Free revision if a check engine light or issue shows up right after the tune — we’ll sort it.

“Interface not found”

Unplug and replug the USB. It’s normal with HP Tuners. Try another port or cable if it keeps happening.

Can flashing brick my ECU?

No — if it’s done right. Use a good charged battery or a maintainer. Don’t touch anything while it’s writing. Don’t use “write entire” unless I tell you to.

Remote or street — which should I pick?

If you’re outside the valley or prefer logging on your own schedule, go remote. If you’re in the Phoenix valley and want me on-site at your house, street tuning works well. Most tunes are street tuned; a good street tune lands very close to a dyno tune. More detail on Services and The Approach.

Do you offer a free look at my current tune?

Yes. Send your current tune through the free tune review form. I’ll say how it was done and whether I’d redo it — free.

Still unsure?

Message first. That’s the rule for a reason.
